ELGOOD’S BREWERY & GARDENS
OPEN FOR 2013 SEASON TUESDAY 30TH APRIL 2013
Elgood’s Brewery & Gardens are pleased to announce our opening dates for the 2013 season.
This year we will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from Tuesday 30th April until Thursday 26th September. Opening times are 11.30 am to 4.30 pm with a Brewery Tour at 2 pm.
Prices for the Brewery Tour (which includes beer tasting and entry to the gardens) are £7.50 for adults; £5 for children aged 6-16 (we regret that under 6s are not permitted on the Brewery Tour). Garden only entry is £3.50; £3 for over 60s and children 6 – 16 years (under 6s are admitted free of charge).
We also have a series of Sunday events this year including our Plant & Craft Fairs on 12th May and 1st September, Garden Open days on 2nd June and 7th July as well as Sunday 4th August in aid of the National Gardens Scheme. Entrance to each of these events is £3.50; however, times vary so do check the local press for details.
Don’t miss our final event of the year – the now traditional Christmas Shopping Weekend – Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December with Free Entry to the Garden. A great opportunity to pick up some unusual Christmas gifts, order your polypins of Christmas Ale from our range of award-winning beers and take a look at the production process on a Free Brewery Tour!
Probably the best-kept secret in Wisbech is our licensed café bar serving a variety of light meals and snacks, all freshly prepared on the premises from the finest local ingredients; also beer, wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee and a selection of delicious cakes & slices. There is no entry charge for visitors just wanting refreshments (although we hope you will be tempted to by a ticket to look round the gardens!). Our friendly staff would be delighted to welcome you for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.
