Delivery and Returns

POSTING OUR PRODUCTS

Bottle orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, we do not dispatch on bank holidays.
 
Polypin orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday, we do not dispatch polypins on Fridays.

Currently we only post to the UK mainland excluding Highlands and offshore islands e.g. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles and Scottish Offshore Islands

We post all orders with Team C Logistics, and deliveries are made Monday – Friday.

DELIVERY FEES

STANDARD SHIPPING: £6.50 per order

Our standard delivery takes 3-5 working days from order to delivery. If you’ve ordered on Friday, your order will be processed on the following Monday.

EXPRESS DELIVERY: £8.99 per order 

Our express delivery takes 2-3 working days from order to delivery.  If you’re ordering bottles and place your order before 10.30am on a Friday, your order will be processed on the same day, bottle orders received after 10.30am will be processed on the following Monday.

Polypin orders will be processed and dispatched on the next available working day Monday to Thursday, as 24-hours’ notice is required to prepare these orders.

CLICK AND COLLECT IN STORE:

You can visit our brewery shop to collect your order. This is a free service. Your order will be available from 11.00am the day after you place your order (Monday-Thursday). Bottle orders will be held for up to 3 days before being returned to stock.

If you are ordering a polypin and wish to collect from our brewery shop, please call 01945 583160 to arrange a collection time. Due to the fresh nature of a polypin, it is advisable to consume within 3 days, for this reason, your orders will be prepared just ahead of your collection.  24 hours’ notice will be required.

Please bring with you proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email.

Our brewery shop is Open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Local delivery is available for those living in the PE13 postcode area, and this is a free service. We will notify you by email when your order is ready to be delivered and we will leave your order in a designated ‘safe-place’ if you instruct us to do so when placing your order.  Local deliveries are undertaken Monday – Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm, we cannot guarantee your delivery day.  If you need something delivered for a specific day please contact our team on 01945 583160 or email shop@elgoods-brewery.co.uk.

SHIPPING NOTIFICATIONS

Our courier will contact you with details of the expected delivery date and time.

Delivery will be made to your address as specified on your order. Please note, we will not be able to leave your parcel with anyone under the age of 18.

We are not responsible for delays outside of our control.  If our supply of Products is interrupted or delayed by an event that is out of our control, we will contact you as soon as possible explaining this. We will also explain any steps that we are taking to minimise the effect of the delay on you. This may include suggesting an alternative delivery arrangement with you if we think that delivery may not be possible at this time. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We are confident that you will enjoy your products, however, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the products sent to you, you should make contact with our team by emailing shop@elgoods-brewery.co.uk and then send them to: Elgood’s Brewery, 72 North Brink, Wisbech, PE13 1LW, enclosing details of the reason for return and your order number.

Live beer products are not eligible for a refund or exchange until they have been inspected in our laboratory & compared with samples from the same batch. Looking after your beer correctly is the best way to make sure it is in the same condition when you drink it as it was when it left the brewery.

If you have changed your mind, then please email us at shop@elgoods-brewery.co.uk or telephone us on 01945 583160 within 14 days of purchase. You will be responsible for returning the Products (in their original, unopened condition) to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel your contract and you will be responsible for paying return postage costs.

If you need to exchange a product, depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. You will be responsible for the postage costs for both returning the items and resending the items out to you.

If you need to cancel or amend your order, please contact the brewery on 01945 583160 or by email to shop@elgoods-brewery.co.uk as soon as possible, if it is too late for us to amend your order, please refuse your delivery.  Once the products have been returned to us we will reprocess the order or issue a refund as appropriate.

Postage costs are non-refundable. For faulty or damaged beer products, if you are eligible for a refund, the cost of return postage will be included in the amount you receive.

If you are posting an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable service or purchasing insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Nor are we responsible for the loss of your returned item in transit.

PAYMENT SECURITY

We will do all that we reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give us when paying for the products is secure by using an encrypted secure payment mechanism.  However, in the absence of negligence on our part we will not be legally responsible to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give us.
