Gardens & Visitors Centre
Mature, beautiful open space in the centre of Wisbech. We are currently re-developing our visitor centre, cafe and entrance to the gardens. For the moment the gardens, visitors centre and cafe remain closed to visitors.
***Our gardens are currently closed due to extensive renovation works, however, we will be open on the 10th August 2022 for the National Garden Scheme Day, please see our events page for further details***
Behind the North Brink Brewery, a classic 225 year old brewery situated on the banks of the River Nene, is a four acre garden incorporating specimen trees as old as the surrounding buildings, herbaceous borders, a lake, rockery, water features, exotic house and herb garden.
Beyond the walled gardens are lawns leading to a Maze, planted with Thuja and Laurel.
The gateway to the gardens is a visitor centre, incorporating a shop fully stocked with plants and other local produce plus Elgood’s memorabilia, and a bar serving tea, coffee, cakes and, of course, a range of Elgood’s prize-winning beers. Our range of bottled beers are also available for purchase to take away.
Elgood’s brewery gardens have a large, free car park.
