FAREWELL TO A LONG-SERVING EMPLOYEE

On Christmas Eve, we bade a sad farewell to a long-serving employee, Herbert Kirk.

Herbert, who had worked at Elgood’s Brewery since June 1969, left in November due to health issues. At the annual staff Christmas get-together we presented him with gifts from the staff and directors as well as a framed photograph. Herbert’s leaving card recorded his long service of “45 years, 4 months & 13 days”!
