On a beautifully hot sunny Sunday, over 150 music fans gathered on the lawns at Elgood’s Brewery Garden to listen to RICHARD EXALL’S SHOOTING STARS play a selection of jazz classics.
The band consisted of:
RICHARD EXALL (Clarinet/Sax/Vocals), ALISTAIR (TICH) WALTERS (Trumpet), BOB WILSON (Trombone), BILL COLEMAN (Double Bass), GRAHAM ROBERTS (Banjo/Guitar) and JOHN WATSON (Drums).

The music, the atmosphere and, of course, the beer, were enjoyed by all. A raffle in support of the Norfolk Hospice raised £200. Organisers David & Sheila Dyer are keen to establish regular jazz sessions in the Wisbech area. A survey taken on the day showed keen support so they hope to be able to build on this.
