PRESENTATION TO NORFOLK HOSPICE TAPPING HOUSE

Wisbech Brewers, Elgood & Sons, were pleased to hand over £1,241 to Rebekah Mills of Tapping House at their Christmas event on Sunday 6th December.

A raffle held over the course of the weekend’s events raised £160.  Prizes included a Christmas cake and Christmas pudding, kindly made & donated by Sheila Wright of Sutton St James, as well as a selection of items donated by Elgood’s and stallholders at the Craft Fair.

Fund-raising for Tapping House carried on throughout the year, with contributions from stallholders at the May & September Craft Fairs held in the Brewery Gardens (£340) and a raffle held at a Wisbech Jazz Club event on Fathers’ Day last June, organised by Dave & Sheila Dyer, which raised £293.  Further donations were given by Skylark Studios from Tydd, visiting bell ringers, garden visitors, brewery staff, etc.

Rebekah Mills of the Norfolk Hospice said; “The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House are extremely grateful for the continued support provided by everyone at Elgood’s Brewery.  All the funds raised go directly to providing vital care to people with life-limiting illnesses in the local community.”
