Brewed with a blend of Maris Otter Pale Ale malt and malted wheat, Double Swan delivers a smooth, rounded body with a light biscuity sweetness. The hop character is layered and complex — a union of UK Challenger, Bramling Cross, and Sovereign hops with a bright lift from US Cascade. Aroma of floral and citrus notes with hints of blackcurrant and spice and zesty grapefruit, delicate berry fruit, and a clean, refreshing bitterness on the palate. The finish is crisp yet full-flavoured, for an exceptionally drinkable pale ale with both English tradition and transatlantic flair.
